Querying the inps.de DNSBL via the Domain Name System
Entries are made in the DNS zone dnsbl.inps.de.
The inps.de DNSBL is a so-called LHSBL. That means, it includes IP address in reverse octet order.
For example, if you would like to check whether the IP address 127.0.0.2 is listed in our blacklist, you have to do a DNS lookup on the hostname 2.0.0.127.dnsbl.inps.de. The IP address 127.0.0.2 is a test entry, which is always listed and usable for test queries.
Example for a manual query with the program 'nslookup':
